Korey Williams Selected to Attend NCAA Career in Sports Forum in May

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss junior football player Korey Williams has been selected to attend the NCAA Career in Sports Forum, May 11-14, in Indianapolis.

“We are extremely happy for the opportunity that Korey has been given,” Southern Miss football coach Larry Fedora said. “It shows the hard work and dedication that he has put in regarding his studies and this forum will allow him greater understanding on the business side of sports.”

The forum is a four-day event through which selected student-athletes will explore and be educated on careers in sports, with a primary focus on collegiate athletics. Through the use of dual tracks, participants will examine the key functions of a coach or administrator within sports.

Foundational skills such as communication, networking, recruiting, managing culture, transitioning and budgeting will be covered with participants.
