NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Monday that four Ole Miss student-athletes have received USTFCCCA All-America honors following their performances at the NCAA Indoor Championships.

Rebel underclassmen Ricky Robertson, Brian Knight, Mike Granger and Sofie Persson were all tabbed All-Americans after finishing in the top eight in their respective events last weekend.

Robertson set a new school record and finished runner-up in the high jump with a height of 7-04.50 to help the men’s team finish tied for 20th place. He surpassed his own previous school record of 7-04.25 he set earlier in the year at the SEC Indoor Championships.

Knight posted an eighth place finish in the high jump with a height of 7-02.25 and picked up one point for the Rebels.

Granger finished in eighth place in the 60 meters with a time of 6.74 and was the only freshman to reach the finals. In the preliminaries, he turned in a mark of 6.66 to mark the third-fastest time in school history.

Persson raced to a seventh place finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:05.85 to score two points for the Rebels. She recorded a time of 2:05.27 Friday in the preliminaries en route to a sixth place showing.

Ole Miss returns to action Saturday when the Rebels travel to Memphis, Tenn., to take part in the Rhodes Invitational to open the outdoor season.
