Harris leaves Ole Miss Football Team

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss head coach Houston Nutt announced on Monday that junior wide receiver Andrew Harris was not enrolled in the university this spring and is no longer a member Ole Miss football team.

Harris, a native of St. Petersburg, Fla., appeared in 12-of-13 games in 2009 for the Rebels. He recorded three catches for 50 yards on the year. His lone touchdown reception came last season against UAB.

A two-year letterwinner, Harris posted six catches for 90 yards and one TD in 25 games during his Ole Miss career.

Nutt and the Rebels will open spring practice on March 27 with the annual Grove Bowl taking place on April 17.
