Keeper Boteler signs with HCC

Raymond, Miss – Dylan Boteler of Florence has signed a scholarship to play soccer for Hinds Community College for the 2010-2011 school year.

Boteler, the starting goalkepper for the Florence High School soccer team, was part of a program that finished the 2010 season as South State runner-up.

“Dylan is a strong goalkeeper who comes from a very successful high school program,” said Hinds coach Doug Williams. “Each year, his coach Gray Massey produces one of the top teams in the state.”

“I have had many good soccer players from Florence over the years and Dylan will just add to that tradition,” Williams continued. “He is a great young man and will do well with our team this fall.”
